Jazzablanca wraps up: WAFCON 2026 less than two weeks away

Mawazine in Rabat, the Gnaoua Festival in Essaouira and now Jazzablanca in Casablanca (wrapped up July 11) are all over — three major events that shaped the start of the Moroccan summer. Next up: WAFCON 2026 (Women's Africa Cup of Nations), July 25 to August 16 in Rabat, Casablanca and Fes. On the World Cup side, Morocco were eliminated in the quarter-final by France (2-0) on July 9; the tournament continues with the semi-finals on July 14 and 15, then the final on July 19.
