About the event
Created in 2000, Tanjazz is one of Morocco’s oldest jazz festivals. It helped make Tangier a music scene open to Europe and Africa, true to the cosmopolitan spirit that inspired so many writers and artists.
The festival stands out for its characterful venues and an eclectic lineup mixing jazz greats and discoveries. It is a fine chance to visit Tangier in the shoulder season, when the city recovers its calm and autumn light.
