About the event
Launched in 2001, Mawazine has grown into one of the most-attended music festivals on the planet. The OLM Souissi stage hosts international pop, hip-hop and Latin headliners, the Nahda stage spotlights Arab music, while the riverside Bouregreg stage is dedicated to world and African music. The Mohammed V Theatre offers more intimate concerts.
Many concerts on the public stages (Nahda, Bouregreg) are free, which explains the huge crowds. OLM Souissi headliners are ticketed, sold individually or via passes. Booking accommodation in Rabat early is essential, as demand spikes during festival week.
