Best Time to Visit Marrakech: Weather Month by Month

Marrakech can be visited all year, but the experience changes completely between a 25 °C April and a July close to 38 °C. Here is the calendar to choose your dates by weather, prices and events.

The best time to visit Marrakech is spring (March to May) and autumn (October to November): highs are around 23 to 29 °C, evenings are pleasant and trips to the Atlas or Agafay are comfortable. Summer (June to September) is very hot, with average highs of 33 to 37 °C in July-August and peaks above 40 °C: only ideal if you have a riad with a pool and sightsee early in the morning. Winter (December to February) is sunny and mild by day (18 to 20 °C) but cold at night (6 to 8 °C), often with snow on the Atlas. In 2027, Ramadan is expected from about 8 February to 9 March. Prices peak at Easter, during the October half-term and over Christmas-New Year: book early for those periods.
