Marrakech in 4 Days: the Itinerary with a Day Trip
Four days is the ideal length for Marrakech: enough to see the medina without rushing, enjoy a hammam and spend a full day on a trip out of the city. Here is the plan that best balances culture, relaxation and big landscapes.
For Marrakech in 4 days, spend day 1 in the medina (Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, souks, sunset over Jemaa el-Fna), day 2 at the Majorelle Garden in the morning and a hammam in the afternoon, day 3 on a full-day trip and day 4 on a free morning followed by an evening in the Agafay desert. For the day trip, two options stand out: Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed port town about 2.5 to 3 hours away (organised tours from around €7 to €12), or the Ouzoud Falls, about 110 metres high and 2.5 hours away (from €15). Stay in a medina riad to do everything on foot. The most popular day trips have around 10,000 reviews or more on GetYourGuide: book them a few days ahead, especially in spring and autumn.
