Agadir with Kids: The Family Holiday Guide
Agadir is probably the easiest place in Morocco to visit with children: a huge beach in town, a mild climate all year, direct flights from Europe and hotels designed for families. Here are the activities and tips that matter.
Agadir with kids works well all year: the city stretches along a large sandy bay several kilometres long, with a pedestrian promenade and lifeguard posts in season, and Al Massira airport is about 24 km from the centre. Families' favourite activities are the Crocoparc (tickets from about €10, a 2-3 hour visit), the cable car up to the Agadir Oufella kasbah (package with pick-up from €10), a boat trip and, for older children, accompanied quad biking in the dunes (from €18-19, check the minimum age). Many seafront hotels offer a pool and a kids' club. For the beach, aim for June to October; for sunshine without the heat, the winter and spring holidays.
